People have different ideas of what the word church really means. For some it is a building, and address, a location - a place with pews, steeples, and pulpits. For some it is programs and activities - a place for Sunday School, worship, Bible studies, and music. But when we use the word church we primarily think of people - people joined by a common faith in Christ into the family of God. We think of a place where you can believe, belong, and become all that God intended.






Believing

We believe that all of the Bible is God’s message for today to men and women, boys and girls—a message that helps us understand the nature of God as well as our own nature. The Bible gives us a clear perspective. more...



Belonging

At the very least, we are a church that is able to know you by name! --As a small church we can know and meet each other’s needs. When tragedy strikes, the whole church weeps. When something great happens, the whole church rejoices. Our church is intergenerational – when we have picnics, softball games and potlucks, we include all age groups - it’s for the entire church. more...





Becoming

At Parkway Church we believe in the priesthood of all believers. Ministers are not the only ones who have access to God. The “professional” clergy are not the only ones who are the servants of God, who have a high calling. All Christians are priests and ministers. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood …” (1 Peter 2:9).





We want to empower you to serve by equipping and training you for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). We want you to come to terms with God’s claim on your life, and to help you fulfill God’s special    purpose for your life. more...
